  • Speed Sensors

    McLAREN Applied Technologies

DHE (Differential Hall Effect) sensors give an output when subjected to a changing magnetic field. The field is set up by a magnet inside the sensor body and changes when ferromagnetic teeth are passed beneath the sensor (no magnets are required in the target). To improve noise resistance, the sensor has two Hall effect elements and only responds to changes in magnetic field strength corresponding to tooth passing frequencies above 15Hz. As each tooth passes the sensor, the digital state of the output changes.

  • CAN Sensor/ Interface

    Current - Reach Technologies Inc.

Reach Technologies’ CAN Current Sensors sense and digitize conductor current for collection via CAN. The module is ideal for conveniently adding current data to a distributed CAN network. The CAN Current Sensor is configurable via J1939 or CANopen stacks, and are available in Hall Effect and shunt variants.

  • C Series Frequency Input Module

    NI

The C Series Frequency Input Module is designed to acquire isolated frequency inputs from magnetic pickup sensors, variable reluctance sensors, Hall effect sensors, and other transducers with a frequency output. Additionally, the C Series Frequency Input Module provides isolation, configurable thresholds, selectable filtering, and embedded counter measurement logic. These measurements can be synchronized with other frequency, analog, digital, and counter measurements in a single acquisition.

  • AC/ DC mA Current Clamp-on Transducer

    CA-60 - Tecpel Co., Ltd.

This miniature clamp meter features two Hall effect sensors. For use with any multimeter with 200mV or/and 2V ranges for direct readout input impedance of least 1M ohm. High conversion factor for low DC and AC mA measurement. With the small jaw size it can fit into tight space in circuit panel or wire bundle to take the reading.

  • Non-contacting Position Sensors

    Vishay Intertechnology, Inc.

For use in harsh environments, Vishay offers non-contacting position sensors based on Hall Effect technology. Linear displacement, rotational (single- and multi-turn), and kit design options all provide a full 360° measurement range with no dead angles and very long life, since there is no wear and tear on sensor elements. Applications for Vishay’s non-contacting position sensors include any system where vibration, shock, or dithering is to be expected, such as embedded applications in vehicles.

  • Speed Sensors

    Series 18 - Electro-Sensors, Inc.

Features • Square-wave pulse frequency output • NPN or PNP output options • Single channel or bi-directional options • 5-24 VDC powered • Hall Effect or Magnetoresistive sensing options • Standard and wide temperature options • Rugged M18x1 stainless steel sensor housing (all models) • Four housing options • All sensors are epoxy filled and sealed against liquids and dusts • Works with Electro-Sensors magnetic pulser discs/wraps

  • Position Sensors

    TE Connectivity Ltd.

Position sensor is a device that can detect the movement of an object and converts these into signals suitable for processing, transmission, or control. TE Connectivity (TE) is a leading manufacturer of industrial linear and angular position, tilt and fluid level sensors. Both off -the-shelf and custom position sensing solutions are available featuring our core technologies, including inductive, potentiometric, magnetoresistive, hall effect, reed switch, electrolytic and capacitive sensing.

  • Quadrature Sensor

    SPECTEC Innovative Sensor Solutions

DIGISPEC Hall Effect Quadrature Sensors provide two digital output signals, 90º out of phase to each other, detecting speed (down to true zero speed) and direction of rotation of gear teeth and ferrous targets. Gear teeth as small as module 0.10" wide can be sensed. Standard output is provided from a 2.2kOhm internal pull-down resistor to a collector, which can sink 25 mA. Open collector can be provided. Output is protected against reverse voltage.

  • P104 Synchro/Resolver Measurement Board

    73SD4 - North Atlantic Industries

NAI’s 73SD4 is a DSP-based, PC104-compliant Synchro/Resolver Measurement Board with six separate, isolated channels. These channels can incorporate up to six Synchro/Resolver-to-Digital Tracking Converters in a stack-through module. Each channel also produces differential incremental encoder (A & B) outputs (with programmable resolution) and a zero-degree marker pulse. Commutation outputs are available for 4-, 6-, or 8-pole brushless DC motors that eliminate the need for Hall Effect sensors, thereby reducing both processor time and bus traffic.

  • Non-Contacting Single-turn

    Bourns

A rotary position sensor translates angular positions to an electrical signal. Rotary position sensors are designed for applications that typically require frequent adjustment. Shaftless designs allow for a different engagement mechanisms, such as a customized shaft, a motor control, a human interface adjustment or a mechanical arm position locator. Rotary position sensors can be used in applications where a user needs to control a variable output such as a frequency, speed or volume control. Typical applications include test and measurement equipment, consumer electronics, small engines, robotics, and medical equipment. The Bourns® Model AMS22S Series uses Hall Effect magnetic technology to sense rotary position.

  • 4-20mA Converters

4026 - SPECTEC Innovative Sensor Solutions

Model 4026 Freq to Voltage or Freq to Current Converter accepts frequency input from any magnetic speed sensor, digital magnetic pickup or Hall effect zero speed sensors. Input and output configurations are field selectable. Input range is adjustable between 1100 Hz - 10 kHz or 75Hz to 1100 Hz. Output selection can be configured as 4-20mA converter, 10-50mA converter, 0-5 V FTV converter or 0-10 V FTV converter. ZERO and SPAN adjustments easily calibrate to almost any measurement range, with little interaction between the adjustments.
